| Core Process Psychotherapy is
drawn from both Buddhist and Western influences. It
is about deeply listening and responding to the
individual.
We work with the assumption that our own
awareness is inherently healing and we try to use that awareness
to bring an understanding of just how things are in
the moment. Often this process of slowing down
and paying attention can help things transform.
Core Process Psychotherapy is based upon a belief
that the 'core' is our inherent health which
remains, even in the midst of great difficulties.
Our experiences in life, even from our earliest
moments, have tended to move us away from this core.
In Core Process we enquire into the patterns of
our defences, which may not always be helping us.
As we begin to have more clarity around these
patterns and more compassion for ourselves, we can
rediscover our personal well-bring and we may be
able to relate with more ease to ourselves and
others. |
